Good morning from Brussels! I am sitting on my chair at home, with a window overlooking on my left and a bag of homemade energy balls to my right.
Forget the oven for these tasty treats! No-bake, healthy energy bites, are easy to make and can boost your energy during the day. It is perfect for everyone in your family. You can make it in advance and use it for your kid's school snack. It gives so much energy and nutrition to their bodies and to their minds.
1/4 cup coconut shreds
1/4 cup almonds
1/2 cup oats
2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon zest
In a blender, add all the ingredients & blend until it becomes soft (5-6 minutes).
Add it into a bowl and make small balls with the mixture.
You can roll it in coconut powder at the end.
Keep the energy balls in a cold, dry place for half an hour and then you can serve it.
