Hotel Amigo is a satisfactory enough once you’re inside. It's one of the oldest hotels in Brussels which is known by their elegancy and amazing service they provide.
The creator of this healthy concept is Pascale Naessens (Pascale Naessens is a best-selling culinary author in Belgium and so popular for her pure and healthy eating recipes) .
The menu format is quite unique and Price were significant. Highly trained waiting staff served us one dish after another.
At first it was the aperitif , a platter of olive, salty almonds and some tasty olive oil with a glass of champagne.
The presentations was quiet elegant . We were enjoying our meal with some fresh detox juice. For the lunch we ordered cauliflower puree with truffles and shrimp which was refreshing.We have served with small dish of roasted sea bass fish with fennel and herbs and some grill vegetables. Thinly sliced truffles and slivers of zucchinis both grilled makes you feel incredible. Their service was even more impressive The flavor of this dish was quite amazing. The texture of the sea bass was excellent and the taste delicate.The next dish was the most simple of the entire meal we experienced , yet delicious, a mushroom omelet, rich in protein.
The simplicity and freshness of the indigents was so impressive . You could take a look at the chef's best selling books and know more about the details of each dishes. I am a big fan of healthy eating life style but the way she presented her dishes makes me feel in love with this lifestyle again.
Personally, i think this concept in the Grand Place area was smart enough . They serve this healthy dishes everyday for lunch and dinner in the main bar in Hotel Amigo.
For the sweet part, we enjoyed a delicious coffee ice cream with a tasty homemade tiramisu. I really liked the setting and details, it was clear that they have chosen the details cleverly.
