Amen

Opened the door and walked into the most glamorous restaurant in Brussels. Everything was in white and lighting and candles made it shining like a pearl during the night. Lamp decor and travertine stone seem revolutionary.Amen opened in August 2016. When you see this place you will understand why they called this restaurant Amen. 

 

We welcomed warmly and sat on a table in the middle of the restaurant. It was quite busy, the most of the tables were full. They've served us an aperitif with two cute A salty biscuit, and after we've enjoyed  a fresh mediterranean bread with some cucumber yogurt and butter. The fresh warm bread took me to my childhood time with Beautiful memories and delicious foods. 

 

 

 

 This was my favorite spot in Amen. It was clever to make a key hole for the kitchen which is the most important part of a restaurant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For starter, enjoying a delicious grilled octopus with fresh vegetables. The author of these unexpected pleasures is Hadrien Franchoo. Although, this is the second restaurant of the famous Pascal Devalkeneer in Brussels.

 

In my opinion, it's a concept that’s fraught with all kinds of tastes, particularly, elements of mediterranean cuisine with the innovative fusion to highlight French cuisine tastes in almost every bite.

 

 Main dishes, we had entrecôte but not the traditional entrecôte that you will experience in a French brasserie and veal with fresh vegetables. It was juicy and well cooked in the way that it should be. However, Amen's dishes are not comparable to somewhere else, as I've mentioned , it is all about the different tastes. 

 

 Every details in this restaurants have a thought behind. The services, flatware sets, plates, decoration and even water carafe.
