Bloody orange salad

I didn’t know orange salad could be so delicious. This bloody orange recipe features orange slices, mint, pistachios and orange blossom water. That, plus a dash of honey for contrast.

This salad is a thousand times tastier than any sugary fruit salad and it’s practically exploding with vitamins C. You won’t find any funny business here—no jello, no Cool Whip, no canned ingredients. Only fresh orange slices!

During this difficult qurantine time, all of us consumed a lot of unhealthy foods, I rarely get my four servings of fruit per day. As someone who wants to feel well and fight with this COVID-19, it's our time to take some Vitamin c.

This orange salad recipe makes a lovely snack, side dish or dessert. Serve it on its own, or add some yogurt and granola to it. Please let me know how you like it.


1/4 cup unsalted pistachio

3 fresh mint leaves

2 oranges ( i used blood orange)

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp orange blossom water (optional) or you can use 2 tbsp of orange juice


Slice the oranges very thinly and add them into a bowl.

Add 2 tbsp of orange juice or orange blossom water with honey and mix it well & add it into your bowl.

Add the crushed pistachios & chopped mint to the bowl, give it a toss and keep it in a fridge for half an hour.

Serve it into your servering plates. Bon appetite!
