Homemade Banana Bread

who can say no to the sweet smell of vanilla and cinnamon? Banana bread to me, is like a celebration of flavors and spices. I love making that every week, especially for weekends and brunches when I am invited to my friend's house. They always ask me to bake a loaf of banana bread.



How to make this delicious banana bread?


3/4 cup whole wheat flour

3/4 cup almond flour or white flour

1 tbsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup mashed bananas

1 tbsp cinnamon

a pinch of salt

1/4 cup coconut sugar or any type of sugar that you desire

1 tsp baking powder

1 egg

1/4 cup Chocolate chips or walnuts(optional)

1 whole banana1/4 cup coconut oil

Preheat the oven at 170°C.

In a bowl, add mashed bananas mix it with vanilla extract, egg, cinnamon, coconut sugar and coconut oil.

When the mixture combined well, add the flours and add a pinch of salt. mix it perfectly.


Add your chocolate chips or walnuts and mix it smoothly.


Prepare a baking pan, spray it with a cooking spray and add the mixture into it. Cut the banana into half and put it on top of the bread.


Bake it for 50 minutes. When the banana bread is baked, let it sit for about half an hour and then take it off from the baking pan. Enjoy!
