Pasta with tomato sauce

Have you ever told yourself that you need a comfy food?!

Last weekend I told my husband that i have to make this dreamy, creamy, ridiculously-delicious al pomodoro pasta. He loves it too. It's our favourite.

We usually order the same when we are eating in an italian restaurant too and i am making this dish when we are craving some comfy food.

Pasta al Pomodoro; Here’s the recipe:

(Serves 2)

400 gr pasta 1 can of tomato puree 2 cloves of garlic 1/4 cup Parmesan Salt & pepper Olive oil 1/4 cup milk (optional)

3 leaves of basil

Cook your pasta.  Follow the package instructions and cook it in a large stockpot of generously-salted water until it is al dente, then drain.  For optimal timing, I recommend saving this step until the end of the recipe so that your pasta is nice and hot.

In a frying pan, add some olive oli, add the copped garlics and let it cook for 1 minuet.

Add the tomato puree and let it cook for 7 minutes. You can add some oregano if you desired but in the original recipe there is no oregano.

Add some salt & peppers.

Add the milk & let it cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the pasta to the sauce and mix it well.

Add some parmesan while you are mixing. You can cut your basil and add it to your sauce or you can add it at the end when you serve the pasta.

After 3 minutes it’s ready. Enjoy!
