Peanut butter, chocolate chips cookies
Is there anyone on the earth who hates cookies? is there anyone who can say no to delicious cookies? I am not sure if it exists. To me, the weekend is about comfort food, is about enjoying food with family and friends, is about tasting a chocolate cookie with a scope of ice cream on Sunday night in front of the TV.
I try to eat healthily as much as possible but for weekends some sugar & butter can make me happy. Don't you think? If you use a room tempreture butter, you need to use a room tempreture egg too and as it turns out, creamy or chunky peanut butters work. I generally buy “natural” peanut butters and this recipe has worked with all of them.

Tips to make cookies like a pro:
Follow the recipe.
Preheat the oven.
Don't open the oven while the cookies are baking.
Use a parchment papaer.
Ingredients:
50 gr unsalted butter, room temperature
3 tbsp peanut butter
30 gr sugar
30 gr brown sugar
70 gr dark chocolate, chopped
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
120 gr all-purpose flour
1 egg
a pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat your oven to 155°C.
In a bowl, add butter and sugars and with a spatula mix them well until becomes like a cream. Pastry chefs call this stage creaming.
Add peanut butter and continue mixing.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk it well.
Add flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Use a fork to combine all the ingredients.
At this stage, you can add your chocolate and mix it with a spatula until you can see chocolate all over the dough.
Prepare a baking tray and add a parchment paper on it. Make small balls with your hand and place them on the paper.
Bake them in the oven for 12-13 minutes.
