Poached pears with yogourt
This recipe is bursting with fresh pear and cinnamon flavor. It's creamy and moist and delicious—everything I want a breakfast bowl to be.
For the homemade granola, please check my previous recipes on the blog. I explained how you can easily make delicious granolas at home. Don't think it is complicated and you can not do it! It is for everyone even those who don't like to cook!
2 pears 1 cup of greek yogurt Granola (check my previous posts to see the method) 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Peel your pears and cut them into halves.
In a pot, add 1/4 cup water and 1 tsp of cinnamon.
Let the pears cook for 20 minutes on medium-low heat.
I always add honey at the end but you can always cook the pears with 2 tbsp of sugar if you desired.
In 2 small serving plates, add 1/2 cup yogurt to each, half a pear, some granolas and garnish it with more honey and cinnamon.
You can keep the pears in the fridge for up to 2 days.
