Persian traditional saffron chicken!
500 gr chicken 1/4 cup bloomed saffron 2 onions Salt & pepper 2 tbsp olive oil
In a large frying pan, add some olive oil and add the chopped onions.
Sauté onions for 10 minutes until it’s golden brown.
Add the chicken and sauté with onions for 3- 4 minutes.
Add the bloomed saffron, salt & pepper & cover the pan with a lid.
Let it cook for 40 minutes on medium- low heat. ( you can put it in the oven at 180°c but make sure to cover it with a lid).
Serve it with some rice or a bowl of vegetables. Bon appetite!
