Zucchini & Brie Tart
Happy Thursday! I can say it is almost the weekend. I hope you all are soaking up this glorious spring weather. I can see the beautiful pink blossoms in different streets of Brussels & the leaves of trees are growing again. If you’re in the mood for a savory baking project, however, I have a fun one for you. It is very easy and delicious without spending hours in your kitchen, believe me!
Making standard pie crusts with butter at just the right temperature is Not my idea & I imagine that it is not yours as well. I think you already understood that I create easy and delicious recipes because I am working too and I know what's it feels like when you get home late and you need to prepare dinner, so I’m excited to be sharing this tart recipe with you. I developed it for my cooking event at Batibouw last week while I was collaborating with Whirlpool, & people loved it!
If you haven’t worked with pastry puff yet, It's a crust made out of butter and flour. You can find it in any shops in Brussels. The fun part with these pastry puff is making your recipes so special. I mean, the result is an impressive-looking tart. I hope you love it. Please let me know, as always, via emails.
1 pastry puff
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
200 gr brie cheese
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt & Pepper
In a saucepan, add 2 tbsp of olive oil and saute the chopped zucchini for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, unroll the dough in a baking tray and add small pieces of brie on the bottom of the tart.
After 3 minutes, remove the zucchini slices and place them on top of your tart.
Add a pinch of salt, pepper, olive oil, and more brie pieces.
With your hand, fold the dough and bake it at 180°C for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley on top and serve it!
